Ive pretty much been bored in both of the macx ipad ripper for mac books that I have read.
I dont know why Goodreads has it listed as YA because its not.
It seemed more like reading words than really getting invested in the story and seeing the visuals in my head.
The characters had old lady like qualities to them and were very bland.I made it halfway through it and there were no action scenes or any fun magic stuff happening.Focusing on all of the characters works in the movie, but I dont wall all three womens perspectives in the book.As Ingrid helps the girls learn to control their magical impulses, Mardi and Molly have just this summer to figure out how to grow up, how to love, and how to be a family.Their beautiful, mist-shrouded town seems almost stuck in time, and all three women lead seemingly quiet, uneventful existences. When a young girl disappears over the Fourth of July weekend, they realize its time to uncover who and what the full moon atlas dark forces are working against them.Witches of East End is the second Melissa de la Cruz book that I have read and havent liked.
Im starting to wonder if maybe metal arms glitch in the system iso Im just not a fan.
Thats just too much for my personal taste.
After they cause a terrible accident at their old high school, twin witches Mardi and Molly Overbrook are sent to live with their Aunt Ingrid Beauchamp in North Hampton, on Long Islands mist-shrouded East End. .
Its very old style writing that I think my grandmother would enjoy.
So, I think that I might just be done with this particular author.I went out and bought the first book in the series.I thought that it was very boring and just flat.I own Frozenso maybe Ill try to give that one a shot before I make that decision. Not that much actually happens.
